happy

Apps that invokes the emotion are rare these days.

happy is one of these apps.

My last post talked about using agentic swarms do spin up departments to do (most of) your coding job for you.

What if we could control these agentic swarms from our iPhone?

This is the niche happy fills.

For the first time in my life, I don’t feel like I need to be at my computer and can continue to be productive.

For the data privacy and security sensitive folks out there, fret not, happy encrypts your data on device, and in transit and it is temporarily stored encrypted on their server. They employ the same encryption method Signal uses (TweetNaCI), and the product is completely open source. The encryption keys never leave your device and they have no way of decrypting your data.

My preferred workflow is to spin up three or four terminals with happy and walk out the door. I can control the swarms from my mobile device and as long as I have internet access, I can write code remotely! A true hack is when I use voice transcription to provide the next prompt.

This would have been awesome to have in college. Go out with friends AND still get homework assignments done?! The world has changed a lot in the last 10 years.

You can get the app here.

Happy coding!
